Description:
Nariyal taila is white or pearl-white fat, or colourless to
light yellow oily liquid, with an odour of coconut and a
bland taste, obtained by expression from the kernels of the
coconut. It is freely soluble in methylene chloride and in
light petroleum (bp: 65-70°C), very slightly soluble in
ethanol (96 %), practically insoluble in water
